My Obsession

Wow..can't believe how time has flown by. Summer's gone --did nothing, except work and write FF... guess it could've been worse. So busy at work--stay late every night; skip lunch hour every day. Everything else status quo.
I'm intrigued by what's been going on between B/A --and a bit worried about their future.

...just wanted to check in...been a long time since on here.

weekends should be better than this! ...weekends used to be for fun --seeing people, going places.
I feel like SCREAMING!
It's been the warmest it's been in a long time and I've been stuck inside --aside from yesterday's exciting trip to the laundromat..oh boy!
Nothing going on ~ just awaiting the arrival of the work week.
My only plans are a month away ~ Yankees Opening Day.
I've gotta shake these winter blues and start living again.
AAAArrrrrrgggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhh!

Whew! What a few weeks it's been. Busy and work; busy at home. I can't believe Thanksgiving week it here already...and everyone knows what that means...Holiday shopping and spending big $$$ is just a few weeks away.

I'm hoping for a string of pearls and a jewelry armoire this year. It does feel pretty ridiculous to be my age and still find things I want for X-mas, but I'm a kid at heart.

I already bought my husband a digital camera but gave it to him already, so now I need another gift for him... and with all my brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews I'd better start shopping soon. :-( ...I went to the mall yesterday and drove around the parking lot for 1/2 hr before I gave up and left. I ended up at Kohl's instead.

Well, I hope every has a nice Thanksgiving ~ don't eat too much!! Leave room for dessert LOL

I've been SO busy at work I haven't had time for any fun :-(
I was happy when I logged on (finally) last night and saw my FicAward ...and then my banner today! The time, effort & creativity of Gus and Zestywithaz is greatly appreciated, so a big "thanks" to both of you.
Hopefully a new secretary will be hired soon, so I won't have to work for 3 lawyers...one's bad enough! lol
Expecting a chilly, rainy weekend here but am definitely glad that the clock is going BACK an hour...I need that extra sleep!

Worked OT three nights in a row... can't wait for 5 p.m. today... first stop: Carucci's (for an apple martini or two); then home for LO:CI reruns and bed.
...just 11 days 'til the Season Premier ...one good thing to look forward to.

Enjoying a quiet holiday day. Very saddened about the news of Steve Irwin...what a shame.

working overtime :-( ....except for the time and a half! :-)

A typical Sunday, so far. Still rainy/overcast, but the weather's supposed to improve. Nothing accomplished, so far, but I've got a ton of laundry waiting for me...a hungry man to cook brunch for and lots of reading to catch up on. Despite having to go back to work tomorrow, I expect it to be a fun day -- I'm actually meeting (for the first time) and having dinner with a fellow writer I met on FF --she's here in Jersey on vacation so we're gonna spend the evening sharing out Bobby Goren obsession. If it stops raining later, my fiance and I are going to a carnival so we can eat junk food and make ourselves sick on the rides :-) lol

As if my memberships at FF and a dozen VDO fansites aren't enough, I was alerted to LiveJournal by a fellow FF author/reader. She contacted me to inform me that one of my stories was nominated for an "award" in the lo:ci best romance category. When I logged on to check out this site, I also found another of my stories nominated --for a Jimmy Deakins fic (Two Men, Four Beers...)

It is extremely flattering to actually see that others "out there" have read and found my stories entertaining enough to even be considered (along with a few other very good writers who are "regulars" on the FF site).

Aside from the torrential rain and T-storms that are ruining all my weekend plans, today is a good day. Weather like this tends to make for a snuggly day of lovemaking.
